About L.V. "Chip" Rainwater - REALTOR®

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I graduated from Sewanee Military Academy in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1969, then on to graduate from Louisiana State University in 1975, with a B.S. degree.

Throughout my career, I worked in the banking industry, owned a General Motors Dealership, raised registered Red Brahman cattle, bred and raised American Quarter horses, along with Great Dane’s.

I moved to Hayesville, North Carolina in 1996, and bought acreage in the Tusquittee Valley. Besides Real Estate, I currently own and operate Mountain Valley Country Store in Hayesville, North Carolina.

In 2004 I received my Real Estate Broker’s license, where I am currently affiliated with Century 21 Black Bear Realty in Young Harris, Georgia. I specialize primarily in unique properties, including waterfront, lakefront, and acreage.
