2020 was an exceptional year for real estate in the mountains. Both home and land sales were up in Clay County (Brasstown, Hayesville & Warne), Towns County (Hiawassee & Young Harris) and Union County (Blairsville & Suches). Between COVID and the unrest in the cities folks flocked to the mountains.
As 2021 starts with a historically low home inventory, now is the best time to sell in over a decade.
